What is the difference between a charter airline and a scheduled airline?
A charter airline operates flights by contracting with one entity to provide specific air transportation for a group of passengers. The charterer determines when and where the group travels. A scheduled airline has set flights on set dates and tickets are open for public purchase.
Am I able to make a reservation directly with Omni Air International?
Since OAI is a charter airline, we do not accept reservations or sell individual tickets. Our aircraft are exclusively dedicated to tour operators, corporations and organizations whom have chartered the entire aircraft.
If I'm flying on a charter, will I still have to go through Security at the airport?
Yes. Security screening is mandated by the Transportation Security Administration. For more information, please visit http://www.tsa.gov
How do I get my seat assignment?
Advance seat assignments are not handled by OAI. Please contact your travel agent or tour company to inquire about seat assignments.
How many bags am I able to check and/or carry on?
Generally, each passenger is entitled to check two bags and one carry-on bag. Since some operations are customized, it is best to check directly with your travel agent or tour operator for specific luggage information.
What should I do if my luggage is delayed or damaged?
Omni Air International has a luggage tracing process which allows for efficient recovery of checked bags. Should your luggage not arrive simultaneously with you at your destination or if your bag is damaged when you collect it at the carousel, you will want to make claim with the Omni Air International representative at the airport, it is important to do this before leaving the terminal.
What information am I required to provide when I make a reservation for a flight?
The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) requires you to provide your full name, date of birth, and gender for the purpose of watch list screening. For more information, please see Baggage Services.
